Exhibition about epitaphes of St. Johannis and St. Rochus cemeteries
About death and life
The cemeteries auf St. Johannes and St. Rochus in Nuremberg are the oldest operating cemeteries in Germany.
With their unique appearance, the amount of more than (estimated) 7.000 epitaphes and with a complete range of art epochs, they are candidates to become a world heritage site.
With my photo exhibition, an inside look into the work of epitaph artist Tom Haydn and a supporting programm with guidance and lectures, we back the particular importance of St. Johannis and St. Rochus.
